We like to call it our mid-life adventure. We have three grown children, living in three different states. I’ve been looking for a career change for a few years. Paul’s always looking for a challenge and neither of us can be still very long. When Covid shut everything down and we were both working from home, it really became evident that we needed something more. For years, one of our favorite things to do was to seek out different breweries in whatever city we were visiting. Paul’s been home brewing for years and decided to go to school to become a brewmaster and I would open a taproom. Once this seed was planted we ran with it and here we are in a beautiful space with top-notch brews.
Paul, retired Marine, was serving as the Sheldon Town Justice when we were in the planning stages of the brewery. He came up with the idea of Beer Justice, the town justice doing beer justice. There were so many ways to play on this theme, we stuck with it.
